C'garh BJP's 'Chintan Shivir' stresses on coordination between Govt and party

Baloda Bazar, Chhattisgarh, Jun 27 (UNI) The two-day ‘Chintan Shivir (brainstorming session)’ of the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Chhattisgarh today concluded with the stress on better coordination between the party organisation and the state government with a strong resolve to return to power for a fourth consecutive term.
BJP President Amit Shah was scheduled to address the valedictory programme of the Shivir organied at Barnawapara Sanctuary, about 70 km from the state capital but was cancelled it due to his busy schedule in New Delhi.
The meeting discussed the possible impacts of former Chhattisgarh chief minister Ajit Jogi quitting the Congress and floating a new party and former BJP parliamentarian Sohan Potai indicating to form a new party and chalked out strategies to romp home for the fourth time.

Patna, Apr 26 (UNI) Scorching heat appears to have affected polling percentage during the second phase of Lok Sabha elections in five seats in Bihar, as only 58.58 percent of the electorate exercised their franchise compared to 62.92 percent in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, which is 4.34 percent less this year.
