Entertainment » OtherPosted at: Aug 1 2016 4:32PM Breastfeeding week celebrations kick starts at Jipmer with awarness rallyPuducherry, Aug 1 (UNI) Jawharlal Institute of Post Graduate Medical Education and Research (Jipmer) today kick started the breastfeeding week celebrations with an awareness rally in which Nursing and MBBS students, Nurses and Faculty from Department of Neonatology, Department of Pediatrics, Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology and the college of Nursing participated in large numbers. According to a Jipmer statement here today, Jipmer Director S C Parija flagged off the rally. The rally started from JIPMER women and children’s hospital, moved along the hospital roads and ended in the College of Nursing. Public, hospital personnel including mothers witnessed the event and were sensitized to the importance of breastfeeding.
