Bootlegger held by police dies in Hospital, Rs 5 lakh ex gratia announced by district administration

Kendrapara, Sep 19 (UNI) The Kendrapara district administration today announced a compensation of Rs 5 lakh to the next of kin of Susant Behera (38), who was arrested by the police on Sunday and later died at the SCB Medical College and Hospital at Cuttack.
District collector, Samarth Verma said a case under Section 302 and 34 IPC has been registered against two police personnel for their alleged involvement in the death of Susant Behera.
Kendrapara SP Niti Sekhar said action will be taken against the police personnel if they were found guilty.
