Body of Bajrang Dal leader recovered in Bihar

Hajipur, Jan 24 (UNI) Body of Bajrang Dal leader Niraj Kumar alias Pappu (30) was recovered from a well in a banana orchard in Adalbari locality under town police station in Vaishali district today.
Subdivisional Police Officer (town) Raghav Dayal said here that the body was recovered following an information shared by the villagers. The body had several bullet injuries, he added.
The deceased, a resident of Kadam Ghat of Tangaula locality under the same police station area, was missing for the past two days.
The subdivisional police officer said that Niraj was tangled in dispute over a piece of land with another villager Deepak Kumar since long.
The officer said that Niraj was missing from Wednesday evening after attending a Panchayat meeting held to solve the matter.
A named FIR against six people, including Deepak Kumar and Sanjit Kumar, was lodged at the concerned police station in this connection.
All the accused were absconding. Raids were on to nab the accused.
