Bodh Gaya, Sep 6 (UNI) Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced that his government would make "Bodh Gaya" the spiritual capital of the world and with teaching of Lord Buddha the world could now move on path of 'avoidence of conflict' from 'conflict resolution'. Addressing a function organised to mark the conclusion of two-day Hindus-Buddhism conclave here, Mr Modi said with teachings of Lord Buddha, the world could move on path of conflict avoidence. Till now, the focus has been on for conflict resolution but it would be better to avoid conflict itself, he added. "Conflict arises only when one tries to force his thought and views on others", he remarked while indicating ways on how to avoid conflict. The Prime Minister said the function was being organised on the day which was auspicious for two reasons, first it was teachers day and the other was Janmasthmi, the birth anniversay of Lord Krishna. Bodh Gaya is the place where Lord Buddha attained enlightenment, he said, adding that the place had received Siddhartha but when he left, it was Lord Buddha, who gave a new light to entire humanity with his teaching and philosophy.
