New Delhi, Sep 18 (UNI) BJP MP Vinay Sahasrabuddhe has tested positive for Covid-19 infection.
'Last Friday had got examined and was tested Negative hence attended Parliament ! But last night I had headache plus mild fever, got examined n have tested Positive for Covid-19 !' Mr Sahasrabuddhe said in his tweet on Thursday.
He said he was 'Operating under strict protocols and medication as advised by Docs! '
The BJP leader requested that those who interacted with him may consult doctors.
Union Culture and Tourism Minister Prahlad Singh Patel also tested positive for the viral infection on Thursday.
Home Minister Amit Shah, Petroleum and Natural Gas Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari, Minister of State For Parliamentary Affairs Arjun Ram Meghwal, Jal Shakti Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, Ayush Minister Shripad Naik and Minister of State for Agriculture Kailash Chaudhary among other BJP leaders and ministers, have tested positive for Covid-19.
