Ambassa (Tripura), Sep 19 (UNI) The leaders from both BJP and its ally Indigenous People Front of Tripura (IPFT) have expressed their firm determination to work unitedly for the behest of the state and the people after attending the first meeting of the district level co-ordination committee in the local Town Hall in the bordering subdivision of Kamalpur in the northern Tripura district of Dhalai here today.
After the nasty political turmoil between both the allies regarding the panchayat by-election, the value and dignity of the BJP led coalition government have reached at a stake for the commoners. To control the damage, both the parties have constituted co-ordination committees at district level. The first meeting of the committee for Dhalai has taken place today.
In the meeting, minister Manoj Kanti Deb, BJP Dhalai district in-charge cum MLA Rampada Jamatia, BJP State general secretary Rajib Bhattacharjee, Kamalpur mandal president Prasanta Sinha have remained present from BJP while from IPFT, State vice president Ananta Debbarma, MLA Brishaketu Debbarma, convenor of legal cell Amit Debbarma and local leader Ajit Debbarma have remained present.
