Bhujbal inspects rain-hit paddy crop in Nashik

Nashik, Oct 19 (UNI) Maharashtra Food, Civil Supplies and District Guardian Minister Chhagan Bhujbal on Monday inspected the paddy crop damaged due to recent heavy rains at Khambale in Igatpuri taluka and assured the farmers that the state government will provide more assistance to them after reviewing the crop losses mentioned in the 'panchnama'.
While interacting with the farmers, Mr Bhujbal said that heavy rains have severely damaged the crops in the district and informed that instructions have been given to the district collector to immediately inquire into the crop losses.
Once the district administration submits the report of the 'panchnama', the cabinet will take a decision and announce the financial help soon, he said.
