Entertainment » OtherPosted at: Jun 16 2016 7:54PM Bengal govt to use water flowing down to Bangladesh from BhutanKolkata, Jun 16 (UNI) The West Bengal Government is making efforts to utilise waters passing through its vast land to Bangladesh originating from Bhutan for irrigating its parched land in north Bengal. North Bengal Development Minister Rabindranath Ghosh said there are about 72 river channels having their origin in neighbouring Bhutan in north enter Bangladesh in south after passing through the state. The water of those rivers remained un-utilised for any purpose of the state till date.
