Bengal becomes safe refuge for infiltrators : PM Modi

Balurghat, Apr 16 (UNI) Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday launched a scathing attack on the Trinamool Congress, accusing the latter of spreading lies regarding the CAA and alleged that West Bengal has become a safe refuge for the infiltrators
coming from across the borders under the TMC regime.
" Our aim is to grant the Indian citizenship to those who (Hindu, Sikh, Buddhists Jains and others) arrived from outside the country
but the TMC has been spreading lies about the CAA, " PM Modi said while addressing a BJP rally here in favour of party candidate
Sukanta Majumdar, also state party president.
" (The) TMC supports infiltrators, but opposes CAA that gives citizenship to refugees, " Modi reiterated and emphasised "that this
Lok Sabha poll 2024 will prove that in Babasaheb Ambedkar's democracy, Dalits, deprived individuals, and tribals are not under TMC's control. "
" There's unparalleled support for the BJP across West Bengal. People have decided to reject TMC's culture of loot and corruption, " the PM iterated.
" (The) TMC feels that Dalits, tribals and the poor are not free to move as per their wish. But this election will tell them that in the democracy of Babasaheb Ambedkar, Dalits, deprived people and tribals are not slaves of TMC. TMC, which has brought tribal women to their knees, will soon come to their knees, " Modi averred.
He charged that the TMC is hand in glove with the corruption and loot under the syndicated gang and alleged that the ruling party has been constantly opposing many central schemes to be extended in the state so that their earnings from the ill-gotten source continued unabated.
