Entertainment » OtherPosted at: May 10 2016 9:28PM BDO and Jail Superintendent held for accepting bribeBhubaneswar, May 10 (UNI) Officials of the Vigilance department today arrested a Block Development officer (BDO) and a Jail Superintendent for demanding and accepting bribe.Vigilance sources here said Rajkanika BDO Ramesh Chandra Behera, was arrested by Vigilance Officers for demanding and accepting bribe of Rs 5,000 from one Arun Kumar Das, Sarpanch, Sihapada G.P, of Kendrapara district.The Sarpanch alleged that he had executed cement concrete road work under his Block and requested accused to forward the work file to J E for measurement. But the accused demanded Rs 5,000 for forwarding the file.
