New Delhi, Sep 28 (UNI) Former Director General of Corporate Affairs B K Bansal, who allegedly committed suicide along with his son Yogesh Bansal, has charged the CBI officers of harassing them mentally and physically. In a suicide note, the father-son duo alleged that the DIG level officer, along with a woman DSP and a ‘fat constable’ in the investigative agency had been harassing their family. According to allegations in the suicide note, the lady was abusive and used to pinch Mr Bansal’s wife. She also harassed his wife and daughter. However, Mr Bansal also praised the investigating officer and wished well for his family. Claiming that the investigative agency was committed to conducting investigation in a fair and professional manner, an official of the agency said in a statement, “We have examined the matter and decided to probe the allegations. CBI is fully committed to conducting investigation in a fair and professional manner without harassment to any one and strictly within the parameters of Law.” “If any violation is established during the probe, strict action will be taken against the CBI officials concerned. The Competent Court will be informed,” he added. Mr Bansal, who was accused of corruption and arrested in July, has allegedly committed suicide along with his son at their residence in East Delhi’s Madhu Vihar. His wife and daughter had allegedly hanged themselves two months ago. The incident came to light when maids employed at the house of the former bureaucrat alerted the police. The maid found the father and son dead when she walked in finding the main door unlocked. Mr Bansal was found hanging in his wife’s room and his son Yogesh, in his daughter’s room. Police said two suicide notes were also recovered from different rooms and found family photos that were attached to every note. UNI SM PY SB 1838
