Bangladesh reports record 40 Coronavirus deaths

Bangladesh, Dhaka, May 31 (UNI) Bangladesh registered record 40 deaths during the past 24 hours to reach 650, Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) said on Sunday.
As many as 2,545 people tested positive for COVID-19, raising the total number of cases to 47,153.
DGHS Additional Director General Nasima Sultana confirmed that 406 Coronavirus patients were released from hospitals in the past 24 hours, taking the overall count of those who have recovered to 9,781, while as many as 11,876 samples were tested at 52 authorised labs across the country during the same duration.
