Bangladesh reports 21 new COVID-19 deaths, 1,383 cases

Dhaka, Sept 25 (UNI) The deaths related to the novel coronavirus stood at 5,093 in Bangladesh on Friday, with 21 more fatalities in the past 24 hours.
During the period, 1,383 people newly caught the deadly virus, taking the country's tally to 3,56,767, the Directorate General of Health Services said in a press release.
The press statement said 12,473 samples were tested in the past day. With this, the number of total sample tests reached 18,88,010.
