Bahadur Shah Zafar's grandson demands to allow to hold prayers at Bibi-Ka-Maqbara mosque in Aurangabad

Aurangabad, Maharashtra, Feb 21 (UNI) M M Prince Yakub Habeebuddin Tucy, grandson of great Mughal emperor Bahadur Shah Zafar, today demanded the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) to allow to hold prayers in a Mosque, situated at Bibi-Ka-Maqbara premises here to meet the end of the principles of natural justice and fundamental rights of religious freedom, guaranteed by the Constitution.
Addressing a press conference here, he said Bibi-Ka-Maqbara, a famous monument constructed by his ancestors in Aurangabad, is at present under the control of ASI, which has barred the devouts from offering any kind of prayers in the Mosque located in premises of Bibi-Ka-Maqbara.
He further said that this was contrary to the fundamental rights of religious freedom guaranteed by the Constitution of the country.
