Awareness on Muslim personal law to be held in city from Apr 23

Hyderabad, Apr 21 (UNI) Jaamat-e-Islami Hind is organising an awareness campaign on Muslim Personal Law, triple talaq and other religious issues in the city from April 23 to May 17.
According to Hamed Mohammed Khan, president of Jaamat-e-Islami Hind (JeIH) Telangana and Odisha, said the campaign will focus on creating awareness in the community and other target groups on various aspects of Muslim Personal Law including triple talaq, polygamy and nikah amongst others.
JeIH president Maulana Syed Jalaluddin Umri will participate in the inaugural programme to be held at Numaish ground in the city on April 23. Several scholars from the country will also participate in the meeting.
