New Delhi, May 12 (UNI) The Automobile Society (India) plans to establish more students chapter and regional offices all over India to promote skill development programmes in the field of Automobile and related sectors. In 2014, the Society established a state private Technical University in Arunachal Pradesh, namely North East Frontier Technical University. According to a statement, the Society also completed training for at least 5000 students under National Skill Development Council (NSDC) star programme. Society is the permanent member of Engineering Council of india and member of various institutions in India and training partner for automobile skill sector Council , NSDC, government of India. The Automobile Society (India) has also expands its new office to Gurgaon, Haryana. Automobile Society India is Professional Boby, to promote various activities in the field of Automobile Industry. Its provide different kinds of membership such as Honorary Fellow, Fellow Member, Associate and Organisational Membership and Student Membership. Automobile Society also conduct Technician Membership examination and senior technician membership examination for their students members through Institution of Automobile Engineers India. As per the direction of MHRD Automobile Society India also submitted the file to the Statutory Council that is AICTE on April 24, 2017, regarding its technician Membership and associate membership programmes for the purpose of Government Employment.
