New Delhi, Oct 19 (UNI) Amid the border tension with China in Eastern Ladakh, Australia will join the high-level annual Malabar naval exercises of Indian Navy in November this year and the drill is expected to be held in the Bay of Bengal and the Arabian Sea this year, the Government officials said here on Monday.
Last time, Australia participated in this exercise in 2007.
The Malabar Exercise 2020 is aimed at engaging all four participants to enhance safety and security in the maritime domain. They collectively support free, open and inclusive Indo-Pacific and remain committed to a rules-based international order.
