Attack on Amit Shah's roadshow marks beginning of a black chapter of democracy: Adityanath

Barasat, May 15 (UNI) Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Wednesday said the attack on BJP national president Amit Shah's yesterday's roadshow is the beginning of a "black chapter of democracy".
" The government that doesn’t listen to the voters has no right to ask for votes, " he said while addressing an election rally here in Bengal.
" Like UP, the TMC goons will get bullets when BJP comes to power, " Mr Adityanath added.
Attacking the ruling TMC, he said, “The last days of tyrant government of Didi has begun. The violence during the roadshow of BJP president Amit Shah has written the expiry date of TMC.”

Drawing a comparison with his state UP, he said, “During the SP-BSP governments, ‘Gunda tax’ was collected, after we came to power, we gave the goons bullets; likewise, when BJP comes to power in Bengal, we will feed bullets to the TMC goons.”

“West Bengal government first allowed and then cancelled my rally, but then I pledged to come here. Whether I would be permitted or not, I would address the rally for sure,”he asserted.
Mr Yogi said,“This attack on the roadshow of Amit Shah is the beginning of a dark chapter of democracy.”
He asked the people to remember this attack and said that it is going to prove the last nail in TMC’s coffin. The government which is not listening the locals of Bengal, doesn’t have right to ask for vote, he stated.
“Didi will not have time to think about the farmers of Bengal, when she is focusing more on riots in Bengal. Farmers of Uttar Pradesh have already got two installments of Rs 4000, but Didi has not shared the list of beneficiaries with the Centre. She does not want the welfare of farmers.”
He said,“Seeing the huge support of the BJP in Bengal, Mamata and her goons are now agitated.”

Stepping up the attack on TMC, he said,“BJP is standing with the people of Bengal. Mamata hurt the faith of people of the state as she is irritated by the name of Lord Ram. TMC government grabbed the earnings of the people in the name of Sharda Chit Fund.”
“Ishwar Chandra Vidya Sagar is reverred by us, and whole country respects him. Mamata government tried to hide its sins by targeting his statue. It tried to ban the slogan of ‘Jai Shri Ram’ here. The West Bengal government has also banned Durga Pooja. Hindus are being exploited in Bengal, riots are happening everywhere,” he commented.
Giving the example of his state Mr Yogi said, “At the time of Durga Pooja and Muharram, I told the officials that the time of Durga Pooja will not change, instead change the time of Muharram processions.”
“Not a single riot took place in Uttar Pradesh in the last two years of my tenure. During the tenure of Mamata’s ally SP-BSP, Hindus were exiled but when we came in power, we relocated them and now goons have fled from the state,”he stated.
Talking about Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Mr Yogi said, "Poora Bharat dol raha hai, Modi-Modi bol raha hai, "and added,“BJP government provided concrete houses, toilets, free gas connections and benefits of Mudra Yojana to the youth across India. We have always respected each and every religion."
Applauding the work of the Prime Minister, Yogi said, “Masood Azhar was declared a global terrorist only because of Modi ji. Working on the principle of ‘sabka sath, sabka vikas’, the PM has extended the benefits of government schemes to people of all caste and religion."
