Assam Guv Jagdish Mukhi to hold addl charge of Manipur

New Delhi, Apr 27 (UNI) Assam Governor Jagdish Mukhi will hold additional charge as Governnor of Manipur in absence of state Governor Najma A Heptulla, a communique from the Rashtrapati Bhawan said on Friday.
''The President of India is pleased to appoint Prof Jagdish Mukhi, Governor of Assam to discharge the functions of the Governor of Manipur, in addition to his own duties, during the absence, on leave, of Dr Najma A Heptulla, Governor of Manipur,'' the communique said.
