Entertainment » OtherPosted at: Feb 9 2017 7:23PM Assam governor stresses on use of green energyGuwahati, Feb 9(UNI) Assam Governor Banwarilal Purohit inaugurated a Conference on “Green Energy-Problems, Prospect and Strategic Planning for North East India”, which was jointly organised by Indian Federation of Green Energy, Assam Energy Development Agency and Assam Science Technology and Environment Council here today. Inaugurating the conference, Purohit said the conference is being held when drastic changes in environment are taking place due to climate change. Therefore there is a need to accelerate application of Green Energy to stimulate the growth of the country, he said.
