Itanagar, March 27 (UNI) Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu on Monday said that Arunachal Pradesh and Assam are “progressing steadfastly” towards resolving the decades-old border row between the two Northeastern states for a lasting peace on the inter-state boundary.
The Chief Minister said, this is happening post inking of the Namsai Declaration.
“Following signing of Namsai Declaration, we are progressing steadfastly in settling border issues with Assam for enduring peace,” Khandu, who had a review meeting with the Regional Committees of five districts of Lower Dibang Valley, East Siang, Kamle, Papum Pare and Lower Siang at his Civil Secretariat office here on Monday, stated in a tweet.
