today dared the CBI to arrest all her party leaders, saying the BJP-led Central government was pursuing vendetta politics for leading the anti-demonetisation movement. Reacting to arrest of Trinamool Congress Lok Sabha member Tapas Paul earlier today, Ms Banerjee said she was already in the know who were on the queue of the CBI target. The CBI also summoned Lok Sabha member Sudip Banerjee in connection with Rose Valley scandal. Ms Banerjee told reporters at Nabanna that her MP Sudip Banerjee would surely respond to the CBI summon. Ms Banerjee alleged that the PMO office and BJP office have been dictating the central agencies to harasse the opposition parties for raising issues of the common people like demonetistion of Rs 500 and Rs 1000 notes. " I will be happy if the centre arrest me so that I can have some rest and devote time in writing," Ms Banerjee added. She said their movement would continue against demonetisation “Modi Babu, arrest all my MPs and MLAs if you want. You don't need to summon us. We are ready. But we cannot be deterred,” Ms Banerjee said “We have not forgotten what Centre did during BengalPolls. This is akin to terror of pre-Independence era,” she said The chief minister said, “political vendetta has reached a new low.
