AROH Foundation focussing on water conservation, education: Gupta

New Delhi, Sep 18 (UNI) AROH Foundation, a national level NGO, on Wednesday said it is focussing in the field of natural resource management, water conservation, access to water and education.
It was stated by Dr Neelam Gupta, Founder President and CEO of AROH Foundation, during an interaction with UNI.
The Foundation has been awarded with CSR Times Award, 2019 in the category of Water Conservation and Management, Rivers, and Inland Waterways. Dr Gupta has been awarded with CSR Professional of the Year, 2019.
During the interaction, Dr Gupta said the NGO is working for the holistic development of the society through different social interventions.
She said the Foundation focuses on ensuring the sustainable development of marginalised communities across India.
''Currently, we have presence across 18 states in the country and we are working towards an all-round development of the society. We work towards inclusive growth and equal opportunity for all,'' Dr Gupta said.
The projects implemented by the Foundation ranges from Education, Skill Development, Preventive and Promotive Healthcare, Environment including projects on Water Conservation and Natural Resource Management.

New Delhi, Jun 5 (UNI) Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Housing and Urban Affairs Hardeep Singh Puri on Friday said almost all of urban India is today Open Defecation Free (ODF) and scientific processing of solid waste, which stood at a mere 18 per cent at the start of the Swachh Bharat Mission-Urban (SBM-U) in 2014, has more than tripled and now stands at 65 per cent.
