New Delhi, Feb 18 (UNI) The Supreme Court on Tuesday adjourned, till after the Holi break, hearing on a petition filed by elusive and beleaguered liquor baron, Vijay Mallya, against Enforcement Directorate's proceedings to declare him a fugitive economic offender.
A bench, headed by Chief Justice of India S A Bobde, said, 'We will hear after Holi vacation the petition of the probe agency, ED, against accused, Vijay Vittal Mallya."
The 65-year-old, liquor baron is, at present, facing extradition proceedings in the United Kingdom, for alleged involvement in money laundering.
Mallya had moved Apex Court against the ED's proceedings to declare him a fugitive economic offender.
