Entertainment » OtherPosted at: Aug 30 2016 4:37PM APCC Vice-president quits Cong, join TDPVijayawada Aug 30 (UNI) The Congress Party, which has been struggling to survive in the state politics since the combined Andhra Pradesh state was bifurcated, suffered a major blow today as APCC Vice-president Devineni Rajasekhar Nehru and state Youth Congress President D Avinash quit the Congress and joined the TDP. Mr Nehru and Avinash met Chief Minister and Telugu Desam party National President N Chandrababu Naidu at his residence here today and had one hour long discussion before joining the TDP. Later, talking to media, Mr Nehru said they had resigned the Congress party and joined the ruling TDP.
