AP: VPA Signs agreement with Integrated Cargo Terminal for revamping of WQ-6 Terminal

Visakhapatnam (Andhra Pradesh), Mar 26 (UNI): Visakhapatnam Port Authority (VPA) signed Concession Agreement here on Tuesday with the Concessionaire M/s. Integrated Cargo Terminal Private Limited, a subsidiary SPV of Orissa Stevedores Limited (OSL Group).for “Revamping of existing West Quay – 6 (WQ-6) Terminal in the Northern arm of Inner Harbour at Visakhapatnam Port for handling all types of Dry Bulk Cargo on DBFOT basis”.
The total Concession Period is 30 years, VPA Secretary T. Venu Gopal said in a release here.
The proposed facility is likely to generate at least 100 direct and indirect employment.
