Andaman Chief Secretary launches 10 Additional eDistrict Services

Port Blair, Aug 19 (UNI) Chief Secretary, A & N Administration, Keshav Chandra, IAS has launched 10 additional G2C (Government to Citizen) (https://edistrict.andaman.gov.in) services for three Departments viz., Revenue, Social Welfare and Art & Culture in the presence of Secretary (Revenue), Secretary (IT), Special Secretary (IT) and Executive Officer, SOVTECH.
The above solution will provide a platform to avail various services viz., Renewal of Boat Registration, Entertainment Tax, Permit for Firing Practice, Land Revenue Receipt, Issuance of Occupancy Rights, Permit for Slaughtering, Permission to take out a Procession, Marriages under Hindu Marriage Act,1955, Application for Visiting National Memorial Cellular Jail, Women Hostel Room Allotment.
While browsing the application, the Chief Secretary observed that the Home page of the Portal should be more user friendly to facilitate the citizen to avail the services without any problem.
