Amar Patnaik, Sasmit Patra and Aswani Vaishnav file nomination for Rajya Sabha seat from Odisha

Bhubaneswar, Jun 24 (UNI) Biju Janata Dal candidates Amar Patnaik and Sasmit Patra and BJP candidate Aswani Vaishnav today filed the nomination for the by poll to Rajya Sabha seats from Odisha.
Mr.Patnaik, BJD’s IT Cell Chairman and party spokesman Sasmit Patra, filed their nominations before the Returning officer in the state Assembly in presence of party supremo and Chief minister Naveen Patnaik, State parliamentary Affairs minister Bikram Keshari Arukh and several other party leaders.
On the other hand, BJP nominee Ashwani Vaishnav, a retired IAS officer,went to the Assembly from the BJP state headquarter and filed nomination in presence of several of party leaders and MLAs.
