Air Chief Marshal BS Dhanoa, Chief of the Air Staff, visited Medical Training Centre in Bengaluru today

Bengaluru, Aug 17 (UNI) Chief of the Air Staff Air Chief Marshal B S Dhanoa today inaugurated, Abhigyaan a new training Complex of the Medical Training Centre here.
He was received by Air Commodore Sadhna S Nair, Air Officer Commanding of the training centre. The unit Platinum Jubilee Souvenir was also released by the Chief of the Air Staff. Besides felicitating ten previous Commanding Officers of the unit, he addressed a gathering of veteran air warriors who had previously served in the unit, as also all air warriors of the Centre.
The unit was formed on 17 Aug 1943, at Chakrata near Dehradun and shifted to the present location on 01 November 1990. It is currently celebrating its Platinum Jubilee. The centre conducts ab-initiation and in-service courses for Medical Assistants and courses in Medical Administration for Medical Officers of the Indian Air Force.
