New Delhi, July 22 (UNI) The Supreme Court on Monday fixed for "final disposal" hearing on August 6, a petition filed by senior Indian National Congress leader Ahmed Patel, challenging a ruling of Gujarat High Court on a plea by BJP's Balwantsinh Rajput, who had unsuccessfully contested against him for the Rajya Sabha two years ago.
The bench was headed by Chief Justice of India Ranjan Gogoi.
"We will hear the petition filed by Ahmed Patel on August 6. This would be for final disposal of the case," the apex court ruled.
