After playing spoilsport during Navratri in Gujarat, rain likely to dampen Diwali spirits too

Ahmedabad, Oct 23 (UNI) A well-marked low pressure area over the East Central Arabian sea was likely to cause continuation of the non-seasonal spells of light to moderate rain on Wednesday, tomorrow and on Diwali day (October 27) at isolated places in parts of Saurashtra and South Gujarat.
IMD Director and senior Meteorologist Jayant Sarkar on Wednesday said the well-marked low pressure area is likely to convert into a depression in the next 24 hours and into a cyclonic storm in the subsequent 48 hours.
Besides from October 25, the movement of the storm would change from East North East ward to West North West ward, which means, away from Gujarat coast.
