Activists stage protest against fleecing of Covid patients by pvt hospitals

Eluru, Sep 18 (UNI) Large number of activists, affiliated to various Left parties, staged 'dharna' at the Collector’s office in protest against the fleecing of Coronavirus patients by the private hospitals.
The activists affiliated to CPI(ML) New Democracy, IFTU and PDSU staged the protest holding banners and raising slogans, demanding the government to take action against Chaitra hospital for 'charging exorbitant money from the Covid patients'.
The activists demanded the government to cancel the medical certificate of Dr Borra Murali Krishna and to conduct an inquiry for collecting huge money from Covid patients violating the government norms.
