ACB unearths Rs 70 cr worth assets of Malkajgiri Division ACP

Hyderabad, Sep 23 (UNI) Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) sleuths on Wednesday unearthed Rs 70 crore worth assets allegedly belonging to Malkajgiri Division Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) Y Narasimha Reddy.
On reliable information that the ACP, who is working under Rachakonda Police Commissionerate, has acquired assets disproportionate to his lawful sources of income by indulging in corrupt practices and dubious means during his service as a public servant, a case of disproportionate assets was registered and simultaneous searches were organized in about 25 locations in Hyderabad city, various places in Warangal, Jangaon, Nalgonda, Karimnagar districts and also in Anantapur of Andhra Pradesh, a statement said here.
During the searches, so far 55 acres of Agricultural lands at Anantapur (Andhra Pradesh), four plots admeasuring 1960 sq.yards of land in front of Cyber Towers, Madhapur ( Hyderabad), two other house plots, one Commercial G+3 building at Hafeezpet , two houses , Rs 15 lakhs cash balance, two bank lockers, investment in real estate and business were found.
