ACB officials nabs a peon for demanding Rs 3,000 as bribe

Kolhapur, Sep 21 (UNI) Anti Corruption Bureau ACB officials arrested a peon of Ambewadi Grampachayat office in Karveer tehsil of this district for demanding Rs Three thousand to give no objection certificate(NOC) for panchanama purpose of damages in flood which hit in July month.
Arrested person identified as Shivaji Dattatry Chaugule(43), resident of Shinde nagar in Ambewadi and working as peon in Ambewadi grampachayat office.
In a press release, complainant had applied for NOC to attach panchanamas of his damaged hotel and permit room in Ambewadi. He requested Mr Chaugule to give NOC in early, who demanded Rs 3,000 for it.
