ACB officials arrests a private official for demanding bribe of RS 10,000

Sangli, Maharashtra, May 30 (UNI) Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) official Sangli division today arrested a private official for demanding bribe of Rs 10,000 to dispose a complaint against complainant on his agri land.

Arrested person identified as Ananda Parshuram Patil(40) , resident of Arag in Miraj tehsil if this district, was working as a private panter if Mandal officer.

In a press release, a case had been booked by some one on purchased agricluture land of complainant, who met Mandal officer to request to dispose the case in early. His private panter Mr Patil met complainant and demanded Rs 15,000 for it. The matter was settled at Rs 10,000. Later complainant informed this to ACB officials here, who arrested Mr Patil for demanding bribe of RS 10,000, after make certain of Mr Patil's bribe demand.
