Abu Dhabi National oil shows interest in investing in Kochi Petro Chemicals

Thiruvananthapuram, Feb 14 (UNI) Abudhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) will look into the possibility of making investment in Petro Chemical Complex in Kochi.
This was conveyed to Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan during his meeting with ADNOC Group CEO and Deputy Minister Dr Ahmed Al-Jabar, official sources said.
The Chief Minister, who is in UAE to attend Loka Kerala Sabha assured to set up a joint task force to explore further investment options in this regard.
Meanwhile, Kerala Government has chalked out a plan to provide high dividend and pension for expats who contribute for Kerala’s development.
Sources said 12 per cent interest will be given to a minimum deposit of Rs five lakh in KIFBI. It also decided to provide a pension of minimum Rs 2,000 to the NRIs who join the deposit scheme. The World Kerala Summit will be held on February 15 and 16.
