AAP workers ‘forcibly’ collecting donation : Vijender Gupta

New Delhi, Oct 23 (UNI) Days after the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) started its campaign for bringing funds to its party's coffers to fight the 2019 Lok Sabha elections by seeking donation from the public, Opposition BJP MLA Vijender Gupta on Tuesday accused AAP workers of ‘forcibly’ collecting monthly donation on the instigation of its party convener Arvind Kejriwal.
“The seeds of coercion were sowed by none other than Kejriwal himself while addressing AAP workers on the last Sunday. He had chastised the workers to obtain donation by force in the following words: everyone will have to give money, whosoever earns in the family will have to individually give donation, and all will have to give donation,” Mr Gupta, who is also the Leader of Opposition in Delhi stated.
