AAP misleading on 10 pc quota for poor: Vijender Gupta

AAP misleading on 10 pc quota for poor: Vijender Gupta

New Delhi, Jan 14 (UNI) Leader of Opposition Vijender Gupta on Monday said that AAP has embarked upon a false and politically motivated misadventure against 10 per cent reservation for the economically weak.
“Arvind Kejriwal Government’s campaign against reservation for poor has exposed its double standards. On the one hand, it fears the backlash from economically weak,on other it speaks against reservation for them by calling it unconstitutional,” he said.
“It is spreading white lie that BJP wants to change the Constitution of Baba Saheb Ambedkar,” Mr Gupta said.

He said that BJP is committed to all inclusive development.

“AAP leader Raghav Chadha in a public meeting in South-Delhi accused that BJP wants to strip certain categories of their Constitutional rights. Nothing can be far away from truth,” he said.

Vijender Gupta challenged Mr Kejriwal to prove how 10 per cent reservation of poor will affect any reserved categories of its Constitutional rights.

He called upon the CM to ensure that his party does not spread lies in this manner.

The LOP said that anti-poor face of AAP has been exposed during four years of its being in power.
“It could not provide even a single house to poor. Unauthorised colonies remain deprived of development. Not even a single Aam Adami canteen has been opened. Aam Adami Clinics have not been opened as promised. Those built up lie shattered,” he added.
