AAP alleges Prashant Bhshan approved candidature of Sandeep Kumar, Bhushan terms statement as example of AAP frustration

New Delhi, Sep 1 (UNI) The Aam Aadmi Party today alleged that expelled party member Prashant Bhushan, had "approved" the candidature of former Delhi minister Sandeep Kumar for the 2015 Assembly polls in Delhi. The statement by AAP, a day after Kumar was removed from the Delhi cabinet after surfacing of an objectionable CD featuring him, drew a sharp reaction from the top lawyer.
In a tweet, Bhushan said that it was a measure of AAP's "desperation', that ''after being caught with their pants down, they allege that I had recommended ticket to Sandeep Kumar." AAP leader Ashutosh had earlier dared Bhushan to accept that he had cleared Kumar's name. "...you should have moral courage to accept you approved Sandeep's candidature in 2013 assembly election,''Ashutosh tweeted.
In a statement, Swaraj Abhiyan, a forum floated by Bhushan and Yogendra Yadavafter their expulsion from AAP, saiid that the scandal involving Kumar was sad but not surprising. as AAP had not undertaken the exercise of filtering its candidates through a due process even after suggestions, warning and red flags by Prashant Bhushan and Yogendra Yadav,
