Vijayawada, Aug 13 (UNI) The spike in Coronavirus positive cases continued unabated in Andhra Pradesh as 9,996 new cases reported taking the tally to 2,64,142 while 82 more patients died taking the total number of fatalities to 2,378.
A health bulletin here on Thursday said that 55,692 swab samples of persons were tested in a period of 24 hours and of which 9,996 people tested positive for Coronavirus.
Most of the deaths reported in Kurnool district (264), Krishna district (218), Guntur district (265), East Godavari district (248), Chittoor district (205), Anantapur district (203), Visakhapatnam district (187), and West Godavari district (170).
