Panaji, Sep 19 (UNI) The total confirmed cases of COVID 19 in Goa has gone up to 26,783 as 644 people tested positive on Friday while total number of people who succumbed to the infection increased to 327 as eight people died on same day.
According to Directorate of Health Services, 399 people recovered during the last 36 hours pushing the recovering rate to 77.82 per cent and total number of recovered patients to 20,844.
While 356 patients opted for home isolation, 202 patients were hospitalised. On Friday, 1925 new samples were tested taking the total samples tested so far to 2,31,801.
