5.0-magnitude quake hits off Saipan, Northern Mariana Islands - USGS

Beijing, Mar 29 (UNI) An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.0 jolted 264 km northeast of Saipan, Northern Mariana Islands, at 0154 GMT on Friday, the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) said.

The epicenter, with a depth of 10.0 km, was initially determined to be at 17.05 degrees north latitude and 147.33 degrees east longitude.
