400 migrant rail passengers skip mandatory COVID 19 testing in Assam

Guwahati, May 24 (UNI) More than 400 train passengers rushed out of a railway station in Assam on Sunday and skipped Covid19 test video of which has gone viral in social media at a time when the state is facing surge in infection.
According to local media report, the incident took place on Sunday at Jagiroad railway station, around 60 km from Guwahati.
The report said the train passengers, who were mostly migrant workers, including women and children, had travelled by Kanyakumari-Dibrugarh Vivek Express, which was coming from Kanyakumari in Tamil Nadu.
