3rd Science Film Festival of India from Jan 16 to 19

Panaji, Jan 12 (UNI) The stage is all set for the third Science Film Festival of India is to be held from January 16 to 19 in the city.
The event is organized annually by Vidnyan Parishad, Goa, with an aim to boost the science film making culture of India. The event is supported by the Department of Science and Technology, Government of Goa and Entertainment Society of Goa (ESG) in co-operation with NCAOR, GSSB, Goa Science Centre, Vigyan Prasar, Delhi.
‘Understanding science’ involves effective development of the scientific thought process as well as gaining a unique scientific perspective. The film festival will include screening of blockbuster films, several interactive sessions with eminent scientists, hands-on workshops and competitions. The goal of these events and activities is to fuse entertainment and scientific learning in one engaging platform, and boost creativity among students.
