Shillong, Aug 9 (UNI) Thirty-eight more persons, mostly civilians tested positive for COVID as on Sunday morning in Meghalaya, taking the total number of active cases in the State to 605.
Director of Health Services, Dr Aman War said that out of the 38 new cases, 18, including 16 civilians and two armed forces, were detected in East Khasi Hills district and another 20 cases that includes 13 civilians and seven armed forces in Ri-Bhoi district.
“There were 27 more recoveries till this morning, taking the overall number of recoveries in the state to 450,” he informed.
