3 minors drown in Aurangabad

Aurangabad, Maharashtra, Apr 12 (UNI) Three minors, including two brothers,
were drowned in water ponds at Rajalwadi village at Sillod taluka of the district
on Wednesday.

Police said the victims residing at Abdulshah Nagar left on Tuesday. As they did not
return their home their parents registered a missing complaint with police.

On Wednesday, the villagers found their bodies in ponds.

The victims are identified as Talika Asifka Pathan (13) his cousin Mohammad Pathan (12)
and Sodiyam Yusuf Pathan (12), police added.

Chennai, Jul 19 (UN) In the 84-year history of Mettur dam, Mr Edappadi K Palaniswami on Thursday had the honour of becoming the first Tamil Nadu Chief Minister to open the sluice gates and released water for irrigation, much to the delight of farmers in delta region.
