3 killed, 2 others seriously injured as car hits tree in Palamu

Daltonganj, Jan 13 (UNI) Three people were killed while two others were seriously injured as a car hit a tree on the NH-39 Daltonganj-Panki road of the Palamu district.
Police sources today said that around mid-night last night five people were returning in a car after attending a family party from Palhe Kala village under Patan Police Station area of this district, when the vehicle hit a tree at Singhra.
The locals somehow managed to pull the injured out of the car and rushed them to the Sadar Hospital where three of them were declared brought dead by the doctors, while two other seriously injured were referred to Ranchi after being administered first aid. The deceased have been identified as Anuj Soni, Prahlad Gupta and Sumit Kumar Soni of different areas of Daltonganj Town.
