Entertainment » OtherPosted at: Jan 16 2016 8:47PM 3 inter-state drug peddlers held: 80 kg Ganja seizedHyderabad, Jan 16 (UNI) The city police today arrested 3 interstate drug peddlers and seized 40 packets, each containing 2 kgs of of Ganja. On credible information, South Zone Task Force team and Central Crime Station staff arrested Ravi Kumar (24) of Vizag, Rakesh Varma (36) of New Delhi and Mohd Ibrahim (65) of Warangal and Epuri Yashodamma (46) (absconding) of Guntur district at Secuderabad Railway Station when they were transporting it to various places, police said. The accused Ravi Kumar, purchased Ganja from the agency areas-- Chintapalli, Paderu e of Vizag district at a lower rates and gets the Ganja packed in air tied plastic covers and keeps them in travelling bags and illegally transporting to other states and various agents. The another accused Ibrahim acts as mediator between Ravi Kumar and Rakesh Varma. Ibrahim used to send his engaged workers to collect the Ganja from Ravi Kumar at Vizag, subsequently to hand over the same to Rakesh Varma.
