3 held by CB for helping God man Sarathi Baba's son to flee

Bhubaneswar, Aug 31 (UNI) The Odisha Crime Branch police have arrested three people for helping Satyam Sekhar Roul, the son of self styled God man Sarathi baba to flee Odisha to evade arrest.
Crime branch sources said, three accused Pilu alias Pilaski Swain, Silu alias Biswajit Patnaik and Bulu alias Harish Chandra Das were arrested yesterday and produced in the court of SDJM, Cuttack today.
Sources said, the three accused had harboured Satyam in Biswnath enclave near Srivihar, Bhubaneswar and paved the way for him to flee from Odisha to evade arrest.
During investigation, it was found that Satyam had given Rs 20 lakh to the three accused for their help out of which the sleuths of the Crime Branch have recovered Rs 16,95,000 from them.
Satyam fled from Bhubaneswar leaving his car near a private hospital after he was sought by the Crime Branch for interrogation. Later, he was arrested from Mumbai and brought to Bhubaneswar.
Satyam is now lodged in Choudwar jail along with his father Sarathi Baba after the court rejected their bail petitions.
